Requirements for Candidates

Requirements to be eligible for School Board Trustee Candidate:
·       Residence – Lived in Texas for 1 year; 6 months in the School District in which running prior to filing deadline
·       Must be registered voter in territory elected from by the filing deadline.

Loraine Education Foundation

The Loraine Education Foundation has created a scholarship fund to provide educaiton scholarships for Loraine High School graduates for edcational purposes. The scholarship policies and procedures set forth below have been prepared to ensure that the educational scholarships meet the requirements of paragraphs (1), (2), (3) of section 4945 (g) of the Internal Revenue Code and awarded on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis.
